Blue Jackets’ Brandon Dubinsky chirps Bruins fans after Game 2

Matt Duchene’s double-overtime winner got the Blue Jackets a 3-2 win, evening their series with the Bruins at one game apiece.

Whether it’s Brad Marchand stepping on and breaking Cam Atkinson‘s stick, Josh Anderson throwing his weight around, or Zdeno Chara being Zdeno Chara, the first leg of the Boston Bruins vs. Columbus Blue Jackets series has had some serious jam.

Brandon Dubinsky added more fuel to the fire after his Blue Jackets downed the Bruins 3-2 in double overtime Saturday in Game 2 to even their series at one game apiece.

During a post-game interview with NBC4 Columbus, the forward was asked if he could imagine what the atmosphere at Nationwide Arena will be like for Tuesday’s Game 3 matchup.

“I can,” Dubinsky began, “I can tell you it’s going to be a hell of a lot louder than it was here in Boston.”

Oh, snap!

Game 3 will mark the first second-round home playoff game in Blue Jackets history, since their opening-round win over the Lightning was the first in franchise history. There’s no doubting that barn will be bumpin’.

Now, if we’re talking pure decibel units, the Blue Jackets home arena might just be the loudest building in all of North American because of that dang cannon.
