Blue Jackets-Bruins, Stars-Blues to begin Round 2 on Thursday

The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will begin on April 25 with Game 1 between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Boston Bruins, followed by Game 1 between the Dallas Stars and St. Louis Blues.

The Blue Jackets will travel to Boston for Game 1 against the Bruins, beginning at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and CBC.

The first game between the Blues and Stars in St. Louis will begin at 9:45 p.m. ET/ 6:45 PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet One.

After the San Jose Sharks eliminated the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 7 on Tuesday, the NHL released the schedule without times, for the second round.

The series between the Sharks and Colorado Avalanche will begin in San Jose on April 26.

The NHL has also announced the schedule for the final Eastern Conference second-round matchup. Game 7 between the Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Capitals on Wednesday will determine which opponent the New York Islanders will face.
