Fresh off being named an NHL all-star, Joonas Korpisalo‘s presence at the mid-season classic could be in jeopardy.

The Columbus Blue Jackets goalie underwent surgery Monday to repair a torn meniscus and is expected to miss four to six weeks, the team announced Tuesday.

The 25-year-old hurt his right knee during the Blue Jackets’ 3-2 shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Sunday. The native of Pori, Finland had to be helped off the ice after giving up a goal to Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews during the shootout.

Korpisalo has compiled a 17-10 record with a .913 save percentage and 2.49 goals-against average across 32 games in his first season as the full-time starter in Columbus.

He was named to the Metropolitan Division’s roster for the 2020 NHL All-Star Game on Monday, but his four-to-six-week timeline could put his availability in doubt.
