Blue Jackets’ Ryan Murray accepts 1-year qualifying offer

Columbus Blue Jackets defenceman Ryan Murray has accepted his one-year qualifying offer worth $2.825 million.

Murray, the No. 2 pick of the 2012 NHL Draft, had one goal and 12 points in 44 games this past season.

The 24-year-old has battles injuries throughout his career.
