St. Louis Blues forward Ivan Barbashev will have a hearing Friday for an illegal check to the head on Boston Bruins left winger Marcus Johansson, the league announced.
The hit occurred during the first period of Game 5 between the Bruins and Blues, when Barbashev connected on a high hit to Johansson.
There was no penalty called during the game, and Johansson did not appear to sustain any significant injury on the play.
