Defenceman Carl Gunnarsson has agreed to a two-year, $3.5-million contract with the St. Louis Blues.

Gunnarsson, 32, was limited to only 25 games last season due to various upper-body injuries. He posted seven points and a plus-eight rating in those games.
The 10-year veteran also scored the overtime winner in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Boston Bruins to help lead the Blues to the first championship in franchise history.
