Blues place Colton Parayko on injured reserve, activate Gunnarsson

The St. Louis Blues have placed defenceman Colton Parayko on injured reserve retroactive to Jan. 2 and have activated fellow rearguard Carl Gunnarsson.

Parayko has missed the past five games with an upper-body injury. In 42 games, the 26-year-old has two goals and 13 points.

Gunnarsson has been out of the lineup since Dec. 13 with an upper-body injury. The 33-year-old has played in 18 games this season registering four points
