Blues place Oskar Sundqvist on injured reserve with lower-body injury

The St. Louis Blues have placed forward Oskar Sundqvist on the injured reserve with a lower-body injury, the team announced.

Sundqvist, 25, suffered the injury during the Blues’ 4-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday.

No further details about the nature or severity of his injury have been disclosed by the team at this time.

The Blues stated they would provide a complete update on his status early next week.

Sundqvist has appeared in 26 games this season for the Blues, scoring eight goals and adding four assists.
