Blues sign forward Troy Brouwer to one-year contract

The St. Louis Blues have signed veteran power forward Troy Brouwer to a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday.

Brouwer, 34, spent 2018-19 with the Florida Panthers, recording 21 points across 75 games.

He previously played for the Blues in 2015-16, when he had 39 points in 82 games, helping them reach the Western Conference Finals.

The native of Vancouver has played in 13 NHL seasons, collecting 362 points in 838 games, also spending time with the Chicago Blackhawks, Washington Capitals and Calgary Flames.
