Blues sign goaltender Joel Hofer to entry-level contract

The St. Louis Blues have signed goaltender Joel Hofer to a three-year, entry-level contract, according to president of hockey operations and general manager Doug Armstrong.

Hofer was a fourth-round pick of the Blues in 2014.

In 48 games split between the WHL’s Swift Current Broncos and Portland Winterhawks this season, the six-foot-three, 157-pound 18-year-old has put up a record of 15-29-3 with a 3.72 goals-against average and .906 save percentage.
