Blues sign Wade Megan to two-way deal

The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Wade Megan to a one-year, two-way contract, the team announced Monday.

Megan played in 73 games for the AHL’s Chicago Wolves this past season, leading the league with 33 goals and finishing fourth with 66 points.

He made his NHL debut on Dec. 22 against Tampa Bay, scoring on his first career shot.

The 26-year-old was originally drafted by the Florida Panthers in the fifth round, 138th overall, of the 2009 NHL Draft.
