Blues’ Steen suffers lower-body injury against Red Wings

St. Louis Blues forward Alexander Steen was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings with a lower-body injury and will not return, the team announced.

The extent of Steen’s injury and if he will miss further action is not known at this time.

Steen had one assist in the game, playing 12 shifts for a total of nine minutes and 50 seconds of ice time before not returning for the third period.

So far this season with the Blues, the 35-year-old has four assists.
