The Ottawa Senators have announced the 28-man roster that will participate in the club’s annual rookie camp.

The roster is highlighted by a trio of first-round picks – Logan Brown, Erik Brannstrom and Josh Norris – as well as other players expected to compete for jobs with the NHL team this season, including Drake Batherson and Alex Formenton.

The Senators will host prospects from the Montreal Canadiens and Winnipeg Jets for a tournament in Belleville, Ont., home of the AHL’s Belleville Senators, in September. The Senators prospects will play the Jets on Sept. 6 and 9, and Montreal’s prospects on Sept. 7.

Belleville Senators head coach Troy Mann will be behind the bench for the Senators prospects during the tournament.
