Campbell dons visor after taking puck to face

Watch as Gregory Campbell and Daniel Paille are injured after taking pucks to the face early in the first period against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Boston Bruins forward Gregory Campbell had to leave Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning after just 37 seconds, when he was struck in the face by a puck.

He would return later in the first period with a visor, and a brand new pair of stitches above his right eye.

It was a tough period to be wearing black and yellow, as forward Daniel Paille also took a puck to the face.

Paille was chasing the puck into the corner when Lightning defenceman Victor Hedman attempted to clear it out of the zone, but inadvertently hit the 30-year-old Bruin in the face.
