Boston Bruins sniper David Pastrnak has been ruled “unfit to participate” in Game 2 against the Carolina Hurricanes. No further details on Pastrnak’s condition have been released by the team.

Pastrnak, who finished tied with Alex Ovechkin for the league-lead with 48 goals this season, played 24:58 in the Bruins’ double-OT win in Game 1 Wednesday, scoring a goal and picking up an assist.

In other roster news, the Hurricanes will have forward Justin Williams and defenceman Sami Vatanen back in the lineup after both were absent from Game 1. James Reimer will start in goal for Carolina, replacing Petr Mrazek.
