Habs look to stay sharp against Bruins

The Boston Bruins are expecting much more out of their captain Zdeno Chara in game 2 of the best-of-seven quarterfinal series.

But after what happened last night, they’ll just be happy if he can play.

Chara was hospitalized overnight for dehydration and is being monitored by team doctors.

His teammates and the Montreal Canadiens expect the towering blueliner to be in the lineup tonight.

"Dehydration isn’t pleasant" Canadiens forward Mike Cammalleri said. "I’m not an MD, unlike Mark Recchi, so I’m not going diagnose the other team."

Cammalleri was clearly still upset with comments Recchi made in the aftermath of the Max Pacioretty injury.

Cammalleri may be without winger Andrei Kostitsyn tonight. Kostitsyn blocked a Chara shot in the series opener and although he finished the game was given a therapy day on Saturday morning.

Kostitsyn is expected to take the pre game skate and if he isn’t capable to play, Yannick Weber will draw in. Weber would play on the fourth line and potentially the second power play unit.

Carey Price, who registered his third playoff shutout on Thursday night, will likely be much busier.

The Bruins are intent to attack the net much more that they did in the series opener.

"We expect their best players to be better, their grinders to grind more and their checkers to check more" Hal Gill said. "We made a lot of mistakes in Game 1 and we’ll need to be much better."
