Bruins rock Patriots beanies in pre-game warmup

The Boston Bruins showed support for the New England Patriots by wearing toques during their pre-game warm-up.

This year’s Super Bowl has an intriguing tie to one of hockey’s best rivalries.

A day after the Vancouver Canucks showed their support for the Seattle Seahawks, the Boston Bruins busted out their New England Patriots’ gear on Saturday.

Prior to their game against the Los Angeles Kings, several Bruins’ players were wearing Patriots toques during pre-game warmups.

The Bruins and Canucks have had a hostile relationship since the two teams faced off in the 2011 Stanley Cup final.
