Bruins sign forward Brett Ritchie to one-year deal

The Boston Bruins have signed forward Brett Ritchie to one-year, $1-million contract.

Ritchie, 26, has spent his entire five-year NHL career with the Dallas Stars, recording 33 goals and 54 points in 241 games.

The Orangeville, Ont., native was selected by the Stars in the second round (44th overall) in the 2011
NHL Draft.
