Bruins sign goaltender Jaroslav Halak to two-year contract

The Boston Bruins have signed goaltender Jaroslav Halak to a two-year contract with a $2.75 million average annual value.

Halak spent his previous four seasons with the New York Islanders during which he compiled a 88-65-19, a .913 save percentage and a 2.69 goals-against average.

The Bruins will be the fifth team the 33-year-old has played for joining the Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blue and Islanders.
