Calgary Flames announce training camp roster

The Calgary Flames have announced their training camp roster prior to when camp opens on Thursday.

The Flames will play seven pre-season games before beginning their regular season on Oct. 4 against the Edmonton Oilers.

Travis Hamonic, who was acquired by Calgary in a June trade with the New York Islanders, highlights the defencemen that the Flames will bring to camp.

Calgary will also have a fresh look between the pipes with Mike Smith and Eddie Lack now in the fold.
