The Calgary Flames assigned forward Dillon Dube to the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League, the team announced Thursday.

The 20-year-old had one goal and four assists over 20 games on the Flames’ fourth line. Calgary’s 2016 second-round pick scored his first career NHL goal against the Winnipeg Jets on Nov. 21.

The Flames will play the Los Angeles Kings next Friday, the second of a two-game homestand, before going on the road to face the Chicago Blackhawks and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
