Edmonton Oilers netminder Cam Talbot is a sucker for a good Ghostbusters mask.

Having worn lids inspired by the 1984 film for much of his career, Talbot opted to stick with the trend heading into 2017-18. But the Oilers starter added a more meaningful touch to his newest iteration of the mask, which was revealed by artist Dave Gunnarsson on Wednesday.

It is always a joy to paint a new mask for my friend Cam Talbot. We have been working together for many years. Thank you Cam for your trust in my paint, I am so happy to work with you. The Goalbuster theme we came up with together is an awesome memory… And here comes the latest chapter in Cam’s mask art saga… It is a tribute to Cam and his wife’s new family members, the Talbot Twins! It was so exciting to paint and create this Storyteller mask in my paint barn and load it with sweet details all over the bucket. @ct33threads @edmontonoilers #Goalbuster #DaveArt #nhl @nhl #DaveArtTheMaskNerd

The fresh bucket features Ghostbusters-style depictions of Talbot’s young twins, Landon and Sloane – pacifiers and all – alongside the Oilers’ emblem.

Keeping with the theme, Talbot’s new lid glows in the dark, ensuring even a Rogers Place power outage won’t keep his twins from shining on the ice.
