The Montreal Canadiens have acquired forward Adam Cracknell from the New York Rangers in exchange for forward Peter Holland, the club announced on Thursday.

Holland suited up for the Canadiens’ AHL affiliate in Laval this season, posting 18 points through 20 games for the Rocket.

After starting the 2017-18 campaign with the Dallas Stars and getting claimed off waivers by the Rangers in early October, Cracknell played four games in New York before moving to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack. He posted three points through 15 games with Hartford.

Cracknell will report to Laval, according to the team.
