The HC breaking news panel reacts to the Dwight King to Habs trade, wondering if the L.A. Kings have something else up their sleeves.

The Montreal Canadiens have added some depth, acquiring forward Dwight King from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2018, the team announced on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old left-winger brings considerable size and playoff experience to the Canadiens, who also added Steve Ott earlier Wednesday morning.

King, who stands at six-foot-four, 229-lbs., had spent his entire seven-year career with Los Angeles, winning Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014 and tallying 69 career post-season games.

In 63 games this season, King has eight goals and 15 points. He enjoyed his best season in 2013-14, when he scored 15 goals and 30 points to go along with a plus-16 rating.
