The Montreal Canadiens have traded prospect Christian Thomas to the Arizona Coyotes for prospect Lucas Lessio.
Lessio, a six-foot-one left winger from Maple, Ont., hasn’t played a single game with Arizona this season after scoring two goals and three assists in 26 games with them last season.
Lessio has seven goals and five assists in 24 games with the AHL’s Springfield Falcons this season.
Thomas, who was traded to Montreal from the New York Rangers in July of 2013, scored a goal and two assists in 26 games with the Canadiens.
