Forward Andrew Shaw will be a healthy scratch for the Montreal Canadiens in Saturday’s game against the Boston Bruins. He will be replaced by Charles Hudon in the lineup.

Additionally, defenceman Noah Juulsen will miss the game with an upper-body injury. Karl Alzner will draw back in to replace him.

Shaw has one goal and one assist in seven games this season, his third with the Canadiens. The 27-year-old has also missed two games this season with the flu.

Hudon, 24, returns to the lineup after being a healthy scratch for the last three games. In six games this season, he has two goals and one assist.

Juulsen has played in all nine games this season after splitting time last year with the Canadiens and AHL Laval. It’s unclear when the 21-year-old was injured but he is currently listed as day-to-day.

Alzner, 30, has been a healthy scratch for all but two games this season despite being in the second-year of a five-year, $23.125-million contract. He has yet to pick up a point this season.
