The Montreal Canadiens will dress defenceman Mark Barberio on Saturday against the Washington Capitals, while fellow blue-liner Zach Redmond will come out.
This is Barberio’s first game action since Dec. 6, while Redmond will be a healthy scratch for the first time since returning from a broken foot earlier this month.
Redmond has made an impact since returning to the lineup, registering four assists over four games played.
Barberio, meanwhile, has one assist in six games played this season.
The move comes on the second half of a back-to-back, as the Canadiens hosted the San Jose Sharks on Friday night, a 4-2 loss.
