Montreal Canadiens defenceman Ben Chiarot is back in the lineup for the team’s game against the Calgary Flames on Monday, Canadiens coach Claude Julien announced.
Chiarot missed the last two games with a lower-body injury. He will take the place of Brett Kulak in the lineup.
The Canadiens went 1-1 in Chiarot’s absence, snapping an eight-game losing streak on Saturday night with an overtime win over the Ottawa Senators.
The 28-year-old has 15 points over 44 games in his first season as a member of the Canadiens.
Forward Jordan Weal will also return to the Montreal lineup, replacing Matthew Peca.
