Canadiens’ Gallagher to miss game against Stars with injury

Brendan Gallagher had a rough period, sustaining a lower body injury according to the team and taking a shot to the hand from his own captain.

BROSSARD, Que. — Montreal forward Brendan Gallagher will miss the Canadiens’ home game against Dallas tomorrow night because of an undisclosed injury.

The Canadiens said on their Twitter account that Gallagher will undergo medical tests later today.

Gallagher left Montreal’s game against Winnipeg on Saturday after colliding with a Jets player.

He missed 17 games earlier this season with broken fingers.

Canadiens coach Michel Therrien also said that injured forwards Alex Galchenyuk and Lars Eller are questionable for the game against Dallas.
