Montreal Canadiens centre Jesperi Kotkaniemi is day to day with a groin injury and will miss the team’s game on Thursday night against the Vegas Golden Knights.

As a result, Canadiens rookie Nick Suzuki will move to centre on a line with Artturi Lehkonen and Paul Byron.

Kotkaniemi has two goals and an assist in 12 games this season for Montreal.
