Canadiens sign Jeremiah Addison to entry-level deal

The Montreal Canadiens have signed Jeremiah Addison to a three-year, entry-level NHL contract, the team announced Friday.

Addison, 20, recorded 24 goals and 43 points in 51 games in his overage OHL season with the Windsor Spitfires.

The Brampton, Ont., native finished his major junior regular season career with 83 goals and 179 points in 309 games.

Addison was selected in the seventh round, 207th overall, of the 2015 NHL draft by the Canadiens.
