RALEIGH, N.C. — Erik Cole is set to rejoin the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes activated the winger from injured reserve on Friday and assigned Ryan Bayda to their AHL team in Albany.
Cole, 29, has missed Carolina’s last four games after being taken from the ice on a stretcher when he sustained a neck injury on Nov. 12.
