Canucks acquire Dorsett from Rangers for pick

The Vancouver Canucks have acquired right winger Derek Dorsett from the New York Rangers in exchange for a third round pick — 85th overall — in the 2014 NHL Draft.

The pick was acquired earlier Friday in a multi-player trade with Anaheim that saw Ryan Kesler dealt to the Ducks in exchange for forward Nick Bonino, defenceman Luca Sbisa and the 24th also headed to Vancouver.
