Vancouver Canucks forward Micheal Ferland left a conditioning game for the AHL’s Utica Comets due to concussion-like symptoms on Friday night and will not return.

Ferland, who has been out since Dec. 10 with a concussion, was slated to return to the Canucks lineup following a quick conditioning stint in Utica.

The 27-year-old has appeared in just 14 games for the Canucks this season due to injury.
