Vancouver Canucks super-rookie Elias Pettersson is quickly becoming a household name, but his teammates still aren’t sure how to pronounce it.
In a new video released on the team’s Twitter account, Canucks players try and fail to say Pettersson’s name to hilarious results.
Whether it’s pronounced Pet-Er-Son or Pete-Er-Son, one thing we do know is in-arena announcers will be saying his name a lot this season. The 19-year-old already has four goals and seven points this season and doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.
