Canucks re-assign centre Pelletier to AHL

VANCOUVER — Vancouver centre Pascal Pelletier was reassigned to the American Hockey League on Saturday, the Canucks have announced.

The 30-year-old Pelletier made his Canucks debut Oct. 25 against the St. Louis Blues. He has two goals and five assists in seven games with the AHL’s Utica Comets this season.

The Labrador City, N.L., native has played in 14 career NHL games with the Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks and Boston Bruins.

Pelletier signed as a free agent with Vancouver on July 7, 2013.
