Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser could never have imagined becoming an all-star in his rookie season.

Boeser was named to the NHL’s Pacific Division roster on Wednesday for the upcoming all-star game on Jan. 28 in Tampa, Fla.

“I don’t think that ever crossed my mind once I made the team or even thought about before,” Boeser said on Sportsnet 650’s The Program. “My main goal was just to make the team and try and produce any way I can after I did make the team.”

The 20-year-old right-winger has 22 goals and 18 assists through 40 games this season.
