Antoine Roussel will make his season debut in his return from reconstructive knee surgery as the Vancouver Canucks host the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday.
Roussel, 30, was recalled from a conditioning stint with the AHL’s Utica Comets on Sunday. He notched an assist in two games with the Canucks’ minor-league affiliate.
He had 31 points in 65 games with the Canucks last season, his first in Vancouver after signing a four-year, $12-million deal during the 2018 off-season.
Roussel tore the ACL in his right knee after a collision with the New York Rangers’ Brendan Lemieux during a game last March.
