Canucks say Brock Boeser did not suffer fracture

After a CT scan ruled out a fracture in his foot, the Vancouver Canucks said there is no timetable for Brock Boeser’s return.

The Vancouver Canucks announced on Twitter Monday that forward Brock Boeser did not suffer a fracture on Sunday, and a timetable for his return will be provided at a later date.

Sportsnet’s John Shannon says Boeser has a bone bruise.

Boeser blocked a shot in Sunday’s loss to the Calgary Flames.

The 20-year-old had to crawl off the ice, unable to put any weight on his foot.

The rookie has had a terrific start to 2017-18, having scored 17 goals and 30 points in 31 games.
