A day after dealing Kevin Bieksa, the Vancouver Canucks added depth on the blue line, signing defenceman Matt Bartkowski to a one-year deal.
Bartkowski, 27, recorded four assists with 37 penalty minutes in 47 games with Boston last season.
He has appeared in 131 career NHL games with the Bruins.
