Damon Severson scored in the shootout and the New Jersey Devils defeated the Vancouver Canucks.

Vancouver Canucks defenceman Chris Tanev will miss the rest of the season with a lower-body injury.

Tanev suffered the injury during Friday’s shootout loss to the New Jersey Devils after blocking a shot in the first period. He was seen on crutches and a walking boot after the game.

The 29-year-old scored two goals and added 10 assists in 54 games with the Canucks this season.
