Washington Capitals goaltender Braden Holtby left Tuesday’s practice favouring his left knee after colliding with a teammate.

Holtby has a 0.67 goals-against average, .978 save percentage and one shutout for the Capitals so far this post-season.

Capitals backup goaltender Philipp Grubauer has one game of playoff experience. The 24-year-old German allowed three goals on 21 shots in a win during last year’s post-season.
