NEW YORK — Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson was fined US$2,000 by the NHL on Friday for embellishment.
Wilson received a minor penalty for embellishment during a game March 19 versus Minnesota.
He was issued a warning from the NHL’s hockey operations department following an incident March 1 in a game versus Toronto.
