Capitals sign forward Kody Clark to entry-level contract

The Washington Capitals have signed forward Kody Clark to a three-year, entry-level contract. The contract carries an annual cap hit of $870,000.

Clark, 19, was taken by the Capitals with the 47th pick in June’s NHL Draft. He is currently playing with the Ottawa 67s of the OHL, where he has three goals and four points in 14 games.

Clark is the son of former Toronto Maple Leafs captain Wendel Clark.
