Former Pittsburgh Penguin – and 2017 Stanley Cup champion — Carter Rowney has signed a three-year deal with the Anaheim Ducks, the club announced Monday.

Rowney posted five points through 44 games for Pittsburgh last season, after posting three points through 20 post-season games in 2017 to help the Penguins claim their second straight championship.

The 29-year-old from Grand Prairie, Alta., was originally undrafted, but made it to the big leagues after stints in the NCAA, ECHL and AHL.
