Clowe not dressing for Sharks vs. Canucks

With Ryane Clowe the subject of trade rumours, the Sharks decided to sit out the forward Monday.

Ryan Clowe’s time in San Jose could be coming to an end.

Clowe, who has been the subject of several trade rumours heading up to Wednesday’s deadline, will not dress when the San Jose Sharks take on the Vancouver Canucks Monday night.

Clowe is said to be healthy but the Sharks may not willing to risk Clowe suffering an injury as they are reportedly shopping the veteran forward this week.

Despite not scoring a goal in 28 games this season, Clowe is said to be drawing significant interest on the trade market.

The 30-year-old forward has an expiring contract so he could be a rental player for any team that acquires him.

In 423 career NHL games, Clowe has 101 goals, 170 assists, and 567 penalty minutes.
