TORONTO — The Toronto Maple Leafs announced on Thursday that Carlo Colaiacovo sustained a torn groin muscle during the first period of their win against the Islanders on March 18.
The approximate recovery time for the injury is four to six weeks.
In 28 games with the Maple Leafs in 2007-08, the defenceman has two goals and four assists to go along with 10 minutes in penalties.
