Chicago Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford will start Friday against the Buffalo Sabres after missing the past three games with a lower-body injury.
Crawford has an 11-7-2 record this season with a 2.29 goals-against average and a .930 save-percentage. The Blackhawks are currently on a five-game losing streak, the longest skid for the team since 2011-12.
In a separate move, Chicago recalled forward Vinnie Hinostrova from AHL Rockford and assigned forward Tanner Kero to the Ice Hogs.
