Coyotes acquire Hannikainen from Blue Jackets for conditional pick

The Arizona Coyotes have acquired forward Markus Hannikainen from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2020.

Hannikainen has registered seven goals and 11 assists in 28 games with the AHL’s Cleveland Monsters this season.

The native of Finland has eight goals and seven assists in 91 total NHL games with the Blue Jackets between 2015-19.
