Coyotes’ Mike Smith week-to-week with lower-body injury

It's been a tough start for goalies in the NHL this season as Mike Smith appears to have joined the list of the injured on Tuesday after suffering an apparent leg injury. He would need help to get off the ice.

Arizona Coyotes goaltender Mike Smith is considered week-to-week with a lower body injury, head coach Dave Tippett said Sunday.

Smith left a game against the Ottawa Senators last week when he suffered an apparent leg injury in a goal mouth scramble. Louis Domingue has played in Smith’s absence, dropping two decisions.

Domingue will start for the Coyotes on Sunday.
